Take over the PrtScn key (instead of Snipping Tool) or set your own shortcut. The app waits quietly in the system tray.

OCR — copy text
Recognize and copy text straight from the screenshot. Runs locally, no image is uploaded.
How to install
- 1Click "Download for Windows" — the .exe installer download starts automatically.
- 2Run the installer and follow the steps. After installation N3XShot appears in the Start menu and system tray.
- 3Press PrtScn to take your first screenshot. You can change the shortcut in the app settings.
Note: the app is not yet code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may show a warning. Click "More info" → "Run anyway" to continue the installation.
